The Rambow family immigrated to Canada from the Kingdom of Prussia in 1863. Making their way across North America, they eventually settled in Hodgeville, Saskatchewan, where they worked the land and ran businesses in the town. Eventually, one branch of our family moved to Alberta, where our brewing story begins!

German traditions, language, and cooking were passed through the generations, as they were with many landed German families in Canada. Today, people of German ancestry represent almost 18% of Alberta's population; Nearly 10% of Canada's population is of Germanic ancestry.
